Frequently Asked Questions about the Three‑Lesson Trial
Which instruments can I try?
You can come and try any instrument that is taught at the music institute.
These include:
viola, baritone horn, bassoon, accordion, harp, flute, kantele, guitar, clarinet, double bass, French horn, classical voice, recorder, oboe, trombone, piano, pop & jazz voice, pop & jazz piano, drums, saxophone, cello, electric bass, electric guitar, trumpet, violin.
If the instrument you are interested in is not listed, please contact us. We will check the possibility of arranging a trial!
Which instruments can I borrow?
Our instrument storage includes most instruments, but we always confirm availability before the three‑lesson trial begins.
Large or difficult‑to‑move instruments, such as pianos or drum sets, are not available for borrowing.
Can I purchase the three‑lesson trial more than once?
You may purchase the three‑lesson trial once, and you can divide the three lessons between several instruments if you wish.
After the trial, you can easily continue your hobby without entrance exams in Preparatory Studies (for children and young people) or in Open Studies (for adults).
You may also apply to the Basic Studies of the music institute through the Play‑In entrance selection.
I bought the three‑lesson trial as a gift. How do I redeem it?
If you purchased the three‑lesson trial as a gift, follow these steps:
- Register in the music institute’s Eepos system under Three‑Lesson Trial.
- Enter the recipient’s information in the Student field. If the student is under 18, fill in the guardian’s information in the Guardian field.
- If the gift giver is not the guardian, enter the gift giver’s details under Add Guardian.
- In this case, the second guardian will also be the payer.
- In the Additional Information field, write that the registration concerns a gift and include the payer’s name.
- Let us know when the gift will be given, so we do not contact the recipient before the gift is delivered.
If you would like a physical gift card, you can pick it up from the Music Institute office.
